Produce Swap at the BCG
Produce Swaps are run by volunteers and held at the garden from 9:30-11:00am on the first Saturday of each month. Come along and enjoy some swapping and sharing of plants, produce, stories and friendship.
Everyone is welcome to bring their excess produce, herbs, seeds, seedlings, plants, flowers, preserves or garden related items, such as books, preserving jars, or pots. Simply leave your swap items on one of the trestle tables and take what you need and can use. You may also like to make something to share for morning tea.
If you don’t have anything to swap, please consider making a gold coin donation instead. These donations help cover the running costs of the BCG and the monthly swap.
Any produce left at the end of the swap is placed on the Food is Free table outside the BCG at the far east end of the garden. This is accessible 24/7.
Dogs are welcome at the BCG, as long as they are kept on a leash.
