Here is a chance to learn how to get your soil in tip-top shape for the busy spring planting season.
Most gardeners know that composting garden scraps is a great way of recycling organic matter back into the soil, but it’s not that easy to get right.
In this workshop Bill Bampton, Head Gardener at Heronswood, will walk and talk you through the steps to make beautiful, rich garden compost. Composting is a bit like cooking; you need the right ingredients in the right proportions and he’ll show you how to succeed in making your own.
Bill will also share tips on how to rejuvenate tired soils using simple but effective methods.
Successful gardening relies on good soil, so come along to this workshop and get your soil moving!
